Task 1: A protest of nonsense

To Start this task I gathered primary photos of signs around the college. I looked at a mix of imagery and typography on each sign in order to get a broad range of images to refer to when experimenting in making my own sign. 

I began the process of creating my own protest sign using a phrase of 'nonsense' from combining a mix of words from signs I had photographed.  

I found this useful and fun as an initial task to start the course. I like the finished design of my protest sign because of how minimal it is with a limited colour palette, the letters are 3D and give the impression they are flying off the sign to emphasise my message.
